Custom Mirrors & Mirror Walls in Los Angeles & the San Gabriel Valley

The right mirror is rarely a stock size. Business owners call us for mirror walls in gyms, dance and yoga studios, salons and barbershops, where the glass has to be flat, safe and read as one surface. Homeowners call for bathroom vanity mirrors, home gym walls, framed and frameless wall mirrors, and mirrored closet doors that need new glass, new rollers or a full replacement.

Most mirror jobs are measured, cut and installed within 1-2 days, and a typical mirror wall goes up in a single visit. Estimates are free, on site or from the photos you text us. We are a licensed C-17 glazing contractor (License #1007507), fully insured, and we work in English, Tiếng Việt and 中文.

Mirror types we cut and install

Custom mirrors cut to size

Standard 1/4-inch mirror cut to your measurements, with cutouts for outlets, switches and light fixtures where a vanity mirror has to fit around them. Bring the dimensions or the old mirror and we cut it at the shop.

Beveled and polished edges

A flat polished edge gives a clean, safe frameless look. A 1/2-inch or 1-inch bevel catches the light and reads as a finished piece without a frame. Both are done in house.

Mirror walls for gyms and studios

Floor-to-ceiling or wainscot-height panels for fitness centers, dance and yoga studios, martial arts schools and salons: safety backed, set on a level base and joined with tight polished seams.

Bathroom vanity mirrors

Frameless mirrors sized to the vanity and set with mirror mastic and clips, J-channel or a concealed cleat, including full-wall mirrors from counter to ceiling.

Mirrored closet doors

New bypass and bifold doors in white, bright silver or bronze frames, plus repairs: a new mirror in the existing frame, and new rollers, guides and tracks for doors that jump or drag.

Framed and frameless wall mirrors

Leaning floor mirrors, framed mirrors for a dining room or entry, and frameless polished-edge mirrors for a hallway or home gym, hung with the right anchors for drywall, plaster or tile.

How a mirror wall installation goes

It starts with a measure. We check the wall for plumb and flatness, note every outlet, mirror bar, ballet barre and baseboard, and plan the panel layout so seams land where they are least noticed, usually at a corner rather than in the middle of a sightline. We also confirm the height: to the ceiling, or wainscot with a channel or trim cap along the top.

Wall prep is on you or your contractor unless you ask us to handle it: a flat, painted, dry surface with no loose texture. Large panels ride in on suction cups, sit on a leveled J-channel or bottom cleat, and are bedded in mirror-safe mastic with clips or a top channel holding the edges while the adhesive cures. Ordinary construction adhesive eats the silver backing, so we never use it. Gym and studio panels carry a safety backing film so a broken panel holds together instead of falling in shards.

A typical studio or gym wall goes up in a single day. Multi-wall jobs, walls with a lot of cutouts, or rooms where the floor is still being finished can run to two days. You can use the room the same evening; just keep equipment off the glass while the mastic sets.

Questions customers ask

What decides the price of a custom mirror?

Size and thickness first, then the edge: a flat polish costs less than a bevel, and cutouts for outlets or fixtures add shop time. Installation is priced by panel count and mounting method, so a four-panel gym wall on J-channel costs more to set than one vanity mirror on clips. Send a photo and the dimensions for a number before we come out.

Does a mirror wall have to be one piece?

No. Mirror comes in sheets, and anything longer than one sheet is made from several panels with polished edges butted tight. A well-planned seam is hard to spot from a few feet away, especially at a corner or in line with a wall feature. We lay out the seams with you before we cut.

Can you replace just the mirror in my closet door?

Usually, yes. If the frame and track are sound we pull the door, cut a new safety-backed mirror to fit and reassemble it, which costs less than a new door. Rollers, guides and the bottom track can be replaced at the same visit. When the frame is bent or the track is cracked, a new door is the better fix.

My mirror is turning black or cloudy at the edges. Can it be fixed?

That is the silver backing breaking down, usually from moisture or a harsh cleaner getting behind the edge, and it cannot be reversed. The fix is a new mirror cut to the same size with the same edge, normally a 1-2 day turnaround for a bathroom vanity.

Do you remove the old mirror?

Yes. Mirrors glued on with mastic come off with wire or heat and leave some drywall patching, which we can do or leave for your painter. Mention the old mirror when you ask for the estimate so we plan the time.

We had a good experience with APL replacing panels for our storefronts. Even though there were some hiccups and minor delays, they still finished earlier than my other quotes. The job was done with care and at a reasonable cost, and their team kept in communication.

Mark installed an AutoSlide on my patio door for my dogs (RFID dog tag automatically opens door). The installation was completed on a timely basis. However and through no fault of his own, the manufacturer took over a month to get the tags delivered to him. Without requesting it, Mark gave me a discount to make up for the late delivery. The five star rating is because Mark valued his service to the customer over his profit margin. Thank you Mark!
