What we collect

Estimate requests. Your name, phone number, email (optional), city or ZIP, whether the job is for a home or a business, company name (optional), the service you need, your description of the job, your preferred language, and any photos you upload.
Calls and texts. Your phone number and the content of messages you send us, including photos.
Site usage. If analytics are enabled, standard usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Review feedback. If you use our review page, your rating and any comments you send privately.

How we use it

To quote, schedule and complete your glass work, and to follow up on your estimate.
To answer your questions by phone, text or email.
To ask for a review after a completed job, if you opted in to text messages.
To keep records required for licensing, insurance and tax purposes.
To understand which pages of the site are useful, in aggregate.

Text messaging (SMS)

Our estimate form has two optional checkboxes. Checking the first means you agree to receive texts from APL Glass & Windows about your estimate, appointment confirmations and reminders, customer support and service follow-ups. Checking the second means you agree to receive occasional promotional texts and offers. You can check either, both or neither; texting is never required to get an estimate.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we use to run the business: our customer management and messaging platform, our website host, email provider, and analytics provider if enabled. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also share information when the law requires it, or with your insurance company when you ask us to help with a claim.

Photos you send

Photos you upload or text are used to quote and plan your job. We keep them with your job record. We never publish a customer's photos, address or name on this site or on social media without asking first.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as needed for service questions, licensing and tax requirements, and then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

Block analytics cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
